Discomfort makes you stronger.

We see many people around us who do not want to try new things they make excuses or say its just not their thing but in reality they do not want to cross their comfort zone or afraid of doing it because they think they are not good at it. Of course, everyone has the ability to become comfortable in all sorts of areas. There are certain areas that it simply takes more work than others.

A great many of the people that I know are afraid to push themselves and test the limits. Some of them are afraid of approaching other people, some cannot speak in public, some have low self esteem and Many others would rather relax and rest. This has led to many instances of people ending up paralyzed by fears. With this posture of trying to not test the limits it has become too easy to fall into a zone of permanent inertia and self avoidance.

By moving through these barriers, we see ourselves face to face with ourselves as if we are human beings just like the rest of the population and just like everyone else. Each barrier only exists for a short time and then it dissolves. We learn from these moments in which we transform ourselves. When we reject these barriers, we are forced to know who we truly are, not as we are programmed or conditioned to believe or what the media dictates we are. In these moments of self-reflection and self-discovery we find ourselves drawn to ourselves.

Indeed, we are the creators and controllers of those artificial barriers of fear. Fear itself is a product of our learning about ourselves. We have a base that goes back to our earliest years of learning and development. One way we learn about ourselves is by looking at the way our brains behave under different circumstances. Consequently, we learn about fear by attempting to cross off the things in life that make us afraid.

Take a break from social situations and build a new circle of friends that will allow you to just be with yourself. Start a blog and/or journal where you can express all of your negative thoughts and ideas and work out how you want to respond to them. You can use this journaling practice to help you deal with all of your symptoms so that you no longer feel the need to hide from yourself.

But here's the thing… you can accomplish anything if you're willing to put in the effort. The important thing to realize is that things are always getting easier and becoming more practical, and that will become more the rule rather than the exception. Just imagine your mind and body were in a container and that the only door you had to get in was through that container.
