First of all, thank you for acknowledging me being a human.

In this part of the world, we used to believe killing animals and consuming meat was considered as paap (or sin). But now it is totally normal thing.

But as it is also mentioned in previous comments here, that living is killing, that cannot be denied. But killing any beings unnecessarily and growing / farming animals solely for butchering cannot be considered ethical.
