Never Judge People

We don't like when people judge us for our actions and if we put the same condition on us people are being judged by us. Rather than judging others and finding faults we should ask the person if he is facing any problem in his life or what is the possible reason for a person's action.

I strongly believe that one should work on the improvement of the system, this will directly hit the actions of the people. Rather than finding a problem in the attitude of people, we should provide the opportunity to improve and grow out of that problem. The simple formula is, find the flaw, suggest a solution, apply the solution, examine the results. Keep doing this again n again until you get your desired results.

I am reading people from last 3 years from a different eye i.e. my wife's perspective. I realized that different people see things differently. Some see that a person has tried well and applause him/her for the great effort while others criticize the same person for the same effort and count his attempt as a failure only. Why criticism is bad, as there are rare chances that the opponent is going to take this as a challenge and put all his/her effort to grow out of that problem. Why encouraging always have positive results and there are more chances that a person is going to try as compared to criticism.

I also want to admit that I am a life student and trying to adopt this as a skill set. I am struggling a lot, failing again n again, but trying my best to stay on the track. I might be taking time but I know I am going to reach there. For now, I am trying to speak less and I found this a key to do less mistake unless you master the skill of encouragement.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:1-2

These are the words of Jesus himself, from the Sermon on the Mount, as related by the disciple Matthew. One of the reasons I can no longer be a Christian is because so many who call themselves such choose to ignore passages like this, and simply use their religion as a cloak to excuse and sanctify their own narrow-minded bigotry.

But I do not quote these words to you as religious instruction. I offer them as a pragmatic observation on how to get along with people. One of the beauties of Matthew 7 is that most of it is not really about religion, but simple practical advice on living together in a community.

Sounds like Jesus said not to use bidbots and use thy own metrics! lol 👍👍

Dear @coininstant

cool comment.

You seem to be quite obsessed with bots :)

@coininstant ... I see many people against bid bots. The question arises, why we have bidbots available? Why these whales have invested so heavily in steem? I believe they are here to make money if this purpose is not served they will leave this platform i.e. to take out the investment which is not beneficial for steem obviously.

Please help me by explaining the purpose of bidbots and how you see this as abuse when bidbots exist legally on steemit?

The reason is it is so easy to transact directly with the blockchain, and there is nothing to stop the bots. We can use many programs, i.e. steempy which I was working with today, they are set up with python and so it makes programming easier! It is not all that bad, just shifts the money around. If I were you I would not worry about them, and just concentrate on creating more good content! Because u used the bot it helped trend your post so I got to read your post and learn, so there is benefit. If no bot, none of these interactions may have occurred. Heres the rule, if you work hard on your post generally it will be accepted by most of the community if you use bidbits. No worries, Im not really going after anyone, I realized there is a pro and a con to everything. The truth is I am totally into bots, emersed, I work on programming bots 12 hours every day minimum! That is why I went bot crazy, I became over saturated!
See heres an example how easy it is to get steem info right from my terminal.

Importing memo key!

So as you can see from here I can now vote, post, downvote, automate with a robot programmed all in my terminal! All the bidbot does is take the memo and vote for a post in the memo after a payment. A bidbot is boiled down to a few lines of code in reality these days and anybody an operate one!

Update, Use beempy instead of steempy! Beempy is all working!!

Thanks for the info, this info is flying over my head and I hope I will be able to catch up after working on it ;)

Would you mind sharing the link for beempy and steempy :)

Dear @coininstant

One of very first things that I would suggest to reduce impact of bidbots is to introduce maximum value of upvote.

Basically it's very sick and unfair system when huge player can give 10 powerful votes a day. With growth of STEEM POWER we shouldn't have only stronger votes. We should mostly have "more" upvotes available (with some maximum power).

That would force people to distribute their curation efforts and would definetly be a huge hit for bidbots.

Piotr

Love your comment @redpossum

@redpossum - Humanity is the biggest religion for me and good to know about this, "One of the beauties of Matthew 7 is that most of it is not really about religion, but simple practical advice on living together in a community."

Dear @redpossum

Thank you for this amazing comment and for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

I always appreciate it a lot. Have an easy monday :)

Dear @uio, it is a great topic of conversation that you present, I must tell you that I found this publication thanks to the reference of our good friend @crypto.piotr

Rather than judging others and finding faults we should ask the person if he is facing any problem in his life or what is the possible reason for a person's action.

Unfortunately one of the frequent mistakes of people is to make hasty judgments. In my country there is a saying, "as they see you are treated" many people do not stop to think or consult the reaction of any reaction of yours, simply shoot their criticism without measuring the consequences of it, or the damage they can cause.

Like you, I think highlighting people's strengths, encouraging them and praising them for the effort will have a positive impact and help them improve what they do.

Thanks for sharing.

Love your mature comments @fucho80 :)

Thank you, friend, it is a privilege to receive this praise from you.

Yes @fucho80, it is great and one of the important topics I believe. Mix positivity in the air in order to eradicate the negativity :)

Good point. The issue with judgement is that our mind does not know where to stop. It continues to judge everyone and finally us too. Hence best to leave it... Judgement, I mean.. 😊 😊

Well said, you become prey to judgment.

Most people judge others for their look, outfit, way of doing things. Not everything is wrong in being different and choosing unpopular paths. Often, it is better to change background where you feel there is no space for you. Rude people will always push you down with critics. Believe in yourself, don't follow. Sky is the limit if you see it... or maybe - like Elon Musk you are looking above sky, then space is open :)

Elon Musk is definetly great exception @wiseman91 :)

Thanks for the comment and I love this one, "Often, it is better to change background where you feel there is no space for you."

You preach in this post not to judge people yet you are trying to tell people how to think in terms of other individuals. So you think that people judge others, isnt that a judgement itself? You are judging steem community by assuming that - at least some steemians - do judge others.

Dear @sigmundfreud

So you think that people judge others, isnt that a judgement itself?

I do not see it as a judgement, but as simple and very neutral observation. Those are two very different thing

@sigmundfreud I tried my best to make my point clear but as per your comment, it seems that there is still space for improvement. Thanks for sharing your view, the goal is only to bring positivity in the environment :)

Stellar is also a payment technology that aims to connect financial institutions and drastically reduce the cost and time required for cross-border transfers. In fact, both payment networks used the same protocol initially.

What kind of problems are you facing if you feel the need to purchase so many bidbots to make your post-high? Is there something going on?? Thanks, I like this post! I think I am going to use your wisdom (from now on) when I'm going up against all the devious bidbot abusers!

Dear @coininstant

I personally don't see any problem that @uio would be facing.

Spending our funds on bidbots (usually it means loss) is not only the only way of competing with "whales" and the only way of pushing our posts to trending page.

I'm going up against all the devious bidbot abusers!

That's so sad. At the end of the day you will target regular people, trying somehow to "survive" on this platform. That's unfortunate reallity.

I tried Palnet and it posted this post again on the steemtit blog. Hence there is no option to delete a post so I put "Test" at the start of the title as it was the result of a test.

I appreciate your prompt reply @coininstant

You don't get that tiny bit of regret right after the bidding like you just took from the system instead of earned

No I don't. Simply because I do not focus on rewards but on real engagement with people. So I care about exposure more than losing or earning some pennies.

Downvoting content isn't really solving issue mentioned by you.

Anyway we clearly have different point of view and all we can do is to respect each others opinion.

Have a great weekend,
Piotr

Hi, a well-made article post.

Hi @andersdult

Are you reaching your goal of "Trying To Make A Second Income Online" ? :)

Dear @uio and @everyone else reading this comment

Interesting choice of topic.

Personally I found being judgemental is one of the worst habbit people have. It doesn't seem to help anyone, simply because those people are usually having only negative judgements.

Dealing with those who judge you can feel like drinking a poison. So obviously most of us would like to cut ourselfs off from those who act this way.

Your suggestion is absolutely perfect. Encouraging and supporting our close friends will surely bring better results.

And just like you've said:

Why criticism is bad, there are rare chances that the opponent is going to take this as a challenge and put all his/her effort to grow out of that problem.

I hope you don't mind that I will share your post with wider audience and will get you some extra traffic (hopefully you do also reply to comments :)

I would like to know how others deal with judgemental people, especially if we are forced to be around some of them (family memebers or close friends).

Yours
Piotr

Dear @uio and @crypto.piotr at the risk of being repetitive I say this "Great Topic for a writeup"
In my experience people seems to have an opinion about everything specially about things that least concern them.

I am reminded of the story of a painter who had made a wonderful painting . So to gauge the reaction of people he displayed it and asked people about their opinion and if something was missing or not right.
He kept a blank board so that people could record their observations.
Next day he found the board filled with negative comments someone did not like the color scheme ,other found the subject too boring .. so on and so forth.
He was greatly disappointed and thought of destoying his art work.
He was however stopped by a friend who had a suggestion to offer...

As per the suggestion he kept the painting again for display and along with it kept a brush and a board.
Along with it hung a note .. If you think the painting is bad please make better painting ...Here are the brushes, colors and a blank canvas..

Days passed but not a single person even tried to paint a better painting.
The motto of the story people would have an opinion. It is up to us how we take it and let us influence it.
We have to be selective in responding to criticism

I know this is easier said than done but can we let our lives be governed by other peoples choices and opinions ?

I do not think so as life is to precious to be run by other people
Just my 2 cents :)

Hello Guys, kindly follow me for wisdom of Life quotes and Articles... Thanks in Advance.

Have you ever heard of Life College :) There are two in the US. East and West Chiro colleges. Just thought it amusing.

I agree, we shouldn't judge anyone, especially if we are not fully aware of the situation of that peron and what makes him or her act in a certain way.
Rather than trying to impose our own point of view regarding another person's deeds, we should pay more attention to how we act and how we affect others. Usually, those who rush to judge other people without thinking twice are also the target of harsh judgements which only feeds the cycle of criticism.
