Hugh Hefner, Let's talk about him

I never been a fan of playboy, maybe because I never had a access to it, therefore I don't know what is he was about. However, I have a mental image of what kind of man he was. Let's see how close I am.

I always imagined him free, I figured, a man whom openly talk about his sexual fantasies have no chains in his mind to restrict him, He was free of shame installed on all of us as permanent operating system.
And I always imagined he didn't have approval of his parents, since it's the parents who install their old firmware on their kids causing them crash at later days and rebel against something, so I figured his parent must be religious and displeased with his lifestyle.
And I always imagined him with a thick skin, after all he was enjoying his life and that generates lots of jealousy in people who where deprived from those joys, specially those who deprived themselves as a result of their religion, since jealousy breeds hate and hate is always show itself through peoples actions, he must've had a thick skin putting up with those individuals.
And finally I always imagined him sharp and well educated, It's hard to imagine somebody generate and manage such a big amount of wealth and not crash to the ground on normal level of intellect.

So? you playboy experts tell me: how close is my image of him and for you whom didn't know him that much, what is your mental images of him?
