Yes, love is a very key characteristic in our everyday life. People go extra miles just to have a mental satisfaction that they are loved. They resort to methods like offering sex as a prove of love and all that and commiting all manner of shinanigans for the partner or object in view.
But in all, love is best practiced and experience in solo before it flows out to third parties. If you don't love yourself enough, you'll simply be found looking forward to get love from outside and this approach for the most part births emotionally insecure individuals.
Love is an inexcludable factor in life, some have killed as well as died for it.
