My New Longboard - Two For One?

Hey Steemians!

I'm really happy today because my longboard that I ordered is finally here. This was the best rated longboard under $100 on Amazon. I got it for $71 with free shipping, and after I ordered it, I noticed the price went up to $91. Wonder why!

I'm no beginner to skateboarding, but I've never owned a longboard. I only used to use a "short board" or a normal skateboard to me lol. It's been many years since I have used a skateboard as much as I did today, but I still got it lol.

I made a video about the board, and how my order kind of got messed up (they shipped me two and only charged me for one!)

Walking all the way to the end of my neighbor's street and back takes 30 minutes, and with the longboard I can go there and back in 11.5 minutes :) I really worked up quite a sweat today. The idea was that since I sold both of my bicycles, I wanted another way to exercise besides just walking.

      I always rode a regular sized skateboard: maxresdefault (1).jpg One of these. So it's weird riding a board that is a lot bigger but a lot smoother of a ride. :) Not too late to get one! Great exercise and they are fun.

                    Awesome man! If you get serious about it, there are a special type of board made for long distance pushing, or LDP. There is even marathons for ldp longboarding.
