Feeling so lost and hopeless.

For the past week I spent most of my time in bed. I just don't know what I'm  doing with my life. I am just lacking all motivation for everything and I don't know what to do. It feels like I am trapped in my dead end job and life just doesn't feel like it's worth it. I just hope I get over this feeling of despair soon enough.

Yeah just getting out, going for a walk is good. And feeling trapped by a dead end job is normal. Try and add some extra routine to your life, even if your a bit tired. my suggestion. I also like industrial music like Front Line Assembly, cheers me up, cause i'm not alone in the grit

maybe your becoming ultra normal which is a good thing. Freak out the squares

As random as this might sound, exercise is often a good place to start. Give your brain the right balance to make good decisions. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice Martin. I think it's just what I will do. My head has been feeling foggy whenever I try to think of anything.

I suffer from depression too, over 30 years I've come to accept depression as a gift and that's the way I am. To feel better, I eat organic whole foods, no sugar, aholchol, or processed foods, lots of green food seems to be a mood booster for me. I do a lot of green smoothies, look up, "Raw for Life," I'm not vegan or even vegetarian, I need meat and animal products too, it's all about good fat and red meat heme, your cells walls and electrical system, the brain are all made of fat. The site has lots of good smoothie recipes. I walk 2-5 miles a day, better than any antidepressant I've been on to even out mood swings. Commit to socializing through volunteer work, it gets you out of your head and socializing, I'm a creative and an introvert, who also worked dead end jobs. My hobbies have been my best friends too. One more thing, which may help, believe in something greater than thought generated self. Clinging to I am this or that creates huge amounts of suffering. I also don't watch or read shitty violent sexually driven media, no porn, it really screws with my mental health. Violent sexual content causes trauma and desensitization, that's a fact. Porn causes the same problem, hug an old person, a child, a dear friend, kitties and dogs work too! Good luck and get up!

I really do need to cut sugar. Thanks for the advice. I am also really curious about the green smoothie but there is no link to the site mentioned.

I've been doing smoothies since 2007, I don't juice, fiber content is key, I bought a powerfull blender and grind the fiber smooth. I use fruit for sweetness.
