This bizarre syndrome is characterized by involuntary movements in some of the upper limbs of the body (Scapular girdle, arm, forearm, hand). These movements are uncontrollable.

Whoever suffers from this syndrome believes that the upper limb affected, for example, his hand, is not part of his body and that he can have life and personality of his own.

This disease originates from brain damage (blows, tumors, etc.) and can be extremely dangerous, because the person who suffers can suffer physical damage caused by their hands, being the unconscious patient of the acts.

There is no treatment for this disease, however, patients have managed to control movements by keeping the hand occupied with some object.

Hand movements can often increase if the patient is under a lot of stress or anxiety.
