Our habits cause suffering. And it's just such misery that needs to be brought to an end, to be of use to us, to benefit us in our quest to be happy and self-realized. Our habits hurt us. And we are capable of being happy, free, and fulfilled, without them. If we do need to use them, then we use them right away. It's wrong to create false hope for a desired condition;
All it takes is giving up the fear, allowing yourself to be, and living fully. Waking up is a choice. There are no right or wrong choices. Just you. No judgement, blame, accountability or judgement You can do it. You can face those challenges with your whole heart. This doesn't mean that you have to take drastic action every moment of every day to stop that suffering from happening. But you do have to constantly be conscious of the fact that you are the one making the decision to behave in a particular way, right now. And this has to change.
Of course, this doesn't mean to stand around and wait. In fact, I want to welcome you in every moment of your life, and to develop a spirit of fun, adventure and partying. A little physical danger is important. Nothing prevents our lives from unfolding exactly as we want. Everything is up to us. Nothing but ourselves. The only thing that stops us is ourselves.
We can accomplish this with tools and strategies we call habits. It seems simple: every day do something to set yourself apart from other people. Start doing exactly that by completing the self-improvement It's as simple as that. Now think about all the good you can do for yourself just by doing this. What do you want to accomplish? To be happy in the process.
We shouldn't waste our energy chasing the vapors. Instead, focus on becoming aware and mindful of the mind's ruminations, its numerous facets, all the thoughts inside us. By seeing these thoughts, these currents of unceasing thought in ourselves, we open up to all sorts of possibilities that would have been closed to us otherwise. These possibilities that are coming to the surface in our minds are not bad but full of possibilities. They aren't the bad ideas but the good ideas that we should be searching for in our lives.
Like all the other emotions in life, happiness, which was once a deep desire, is now just a bundle of numbers. One can spend all their lives calculating the many equations of happiness, but is it possible to decrease it and improve it? The way to do it is to just start living. Start working, and spend more time doing things that give you pleasure. The time you'd spend shopping, spending time with other people, or watching TV, becomes more valuable. Once you do that, it will become much easier for you to notice the big improvement of the happiness level you were already experiencing.
And remember, there is always something to teach. Life is full of promise. Whether it is pushing oneself, and supporting others, and enjoying life or pursuing life, everything is possible. Only then you can truly fulfill your life.
