SO MUCH WORK, SO LESS TIME!

This is the exact situation that I'm in right now. I've been procrastinating a lot ever since we completed Ride De India 2017 Motorcycle Road trip on September 17th, 2017. If you don't know what that is? You should definitely give it a read.

I had almost a month and a half time to do the video production before I had to travel to Lisbon for Steemfest 2, but I was lazing around for the first few days. Then, when I actually started the editing, I started facing problems with my PC one after the other.

Later, @its2bhan and I got together to sort out all the issues. Once the issues got solved, I had to travel to Bangalore to get my Visa to attend Steemfest. I spent another 3-4 days on that and once I came back to my city, I started working on the video. But then when I had done a certain portion of the video, the software gave some error and I had not saved my work.

That ended up demotivating me again and I thought of editing them after the Steemfest is done. Mind you, it's not a small video. The files are 1 TB in size because it's 43 days' videos.

I captured a lot of videos in my EuroTrip and in Steemfest 2 as well. Now that I'm back home, the amount of videos I've got to work on is overwhelming. I'm pretty confused on what to work on. It'll take a lot of time to finish my Ride De India videos and I've also got to work on Steemfest videos soon before the craze for Steemfest 2 dies down.

Kind of in a stuck situation. If you were in my place, what would you have done? I would love to know your answers and also love some advice/suggestions from you guys.

hello @wandereronwheels ! It's funny you say that because I was wondering why your steemfest posts suddenly stopped! Courage my friend! The best advice I can give you is not to waste energy on the past, on things that you cannot change. When I get overwhelmed I usually start with the hardest and worst part of the job, when that's done then it's smooth sailing! Give yourself the time to enjoy what you do and don't stress. Personally I think it's ok to wait a bit for the steemfest posts because you might have new ideas as time passes and you look back. Plus there won't be hundreds of other posts on the subject at the same time and you may get more visibility.. but I don't know if that's true, just my personal opinion. Good luck and do not worry! ;)

Start off with the hardest part eh? Thanks buddy!

The secret of doing anything is to start doing it right now.

And you will not even know when the whole thing is done.

Because video editing is your passion and the more amount of work you have got, the more experiments and more new stuff you could try on it.

This thing will not help you how to edit or what to do, but to remind you that you can easily do it even it's 1 TB.

Now, this is motivating.
Starting right away!

great.

I don't know about a camera well. However, I think I know that you are very upset, sad, confused now. I think what I can do is just only saying "I am so sorry for hearing this situation :(, I hope you find a way to solve and get better!"

That didn't help much. But thanks. :)
