How I use anxiety to be a better speaker: A simple technique

Sometimes it's better to let the audience you're know you're anxious and laugh at yourself about it. Most people can relate, and the self honesty is disarming, plus it can endear you to your audience. It communicates authenticity, and that's something the most polished speaker can't buy.

I'd agree. Sometimes showing your vulnerability to your audience even connects them better with you. After all, feeling anxious is an experience that all we can relate to :)
