"No Way is The Way." - Bruce Lee
As more and more people begin to awaken from the slumber and realization that our school system is broken, outdated, and deadly, we will see a movement begin to emerge. A division of government and special interests from education. The way we are being educated is wrong, if only more could understand how deeply this cut goes...
To truly grasp the problems that we are facing with education, we need to look no further than the human psyche. Education shapes and forms the human psyche; functions of thinking and willing, planning and executing. In fact, it determines ALL behavior. These functions are essentially cut off in our education system, leaving us with mindless dummies with a need to be entertained and directed. There are only a handful of fortunate people who have been able to stand steadfast in their authority to direct and create their lives. And actually do it.
"Failing is an option. If you're not failing, you're not innovating enough." -Elon Musk
Any person with any amount of success knows that this is truly the way. We have to face failure. One of the best examples of failure leading to success in my life is skateboarding. Anyone who has set foot on a skateboard knows that it is difficult. In order to land my first kickflip, it took me two years of failing over and over and over again. After I got that down my skills snowballed as I easily learned new tricks. The more I failed, the faster I attained new skills. This type of failing is essentially banned from our education experience. Failing is bad, we are taught.
"Every failure brings with it, the seed of equal or greater benefit." - Napoleon Hill
I've learned more from my failure than I could ever wish to learn from success. Success just simply feels good, we celebrate. But failure hurts, it causes us to ponder. Therefore, it is far more beneficial to fail. To fail successfully is an art form. It's a way of being, it's a practice of meditation.
What are your thoughts?
Is our current system of education successfully creating individuals able to think, plan and execute to their needs and desires? What will we do about it? Or are we so happy to be out of the prison ourselves that we dare not turn and face the demon of education? We Will Reform. But first, the people must stand together in dignity, defending the honor of the students. I truly want to hear your thoughts, did education work for you?
