The world of dogs

in life •  7 years ago

Many of you have experienced playing hide-and-seek with your dog and haven't noticed you yet.
They are also disappointed by dogs who can not find themselves, and worry about ' bad eyesight. '

Let's find out what features a dog's eyes are sometimes very good, and eyes are sometimes worse than a human.

First
Dogs need a distance of at least 33 to 50 centimeters, while humans can focus up to 7 centimeters in front of their eyes. Therefore, it looks cloudy when the snow-eyed dog is closer than 33 cm.

Second
The ability to see things far away is much higher than in humans, compared with the ability of a dog to see in a range of about 180 degrees.

Third
Dog's eyes are more sensitive to moving than to stationary objects. Because of this, they are sensitive to the discus throw, flying birds or butterflies, and running cats. Dogs have " body vision " several times better than humans.

Fourth
I can see well in the dark. Dogs ' retinae have a feature called tapetum to increase their reflexes, allowing them to distinguish objects even by about one-third the brightness of a human being.

Fifth
Although the world dogs see is known as a black-and-white world, recent studies have shown that they are capable of distinguishing between blue and green. In other words, dogs live in a world with colors such as blue, green, white, and black.

What can you do to improve the dog's vision?

Dogs are completely visible after 6 months of age. Showing various things stimulates the visual nerves in the brain, creating the power to see.

Dogs pay attention to the changes in the hands and face of dogs.
Dogs can understand instructions more easily if they work together to train, such as by signing a hand or moving their face.

Woff, woff!

Hello @webj, Nice to meet you!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶
