Randomness on a Tuesday.

First of all holy shit to new Mr. Robot. The new revelation wasn't all that much of a shock but what an episode....such an intense episode! I saw an article comparing each episode of this season to episodes of season 1, so many parallels it can't be coincidence. I do thing there will be a more shocking reveal coming in the next two episodes.

I think this may be the very first tv show I've enjoyed from start to finish. I suppose the season 3 finale and season 4 premeire got me worried....there is some bad acting from 2-3 actors and there are way too many sociopaths at this point, but as a whole between the story and the relationships and the style and artistic choices, it's still solid all the way through. Lost may have been my favorite before but it dragged on for too long.

I'm also loving Atlanta too! I love how nuanced television that doesn't really cave to impressing advertisers is a thing now. The OA went a bit too far for me but it was also solid...sad it was cancelled.

I'm going to HK I a few days...i don't really plan on getting involved in anything, but I'd like to go talk to friends and strangers and bring some emotional support. I miss everyone there and hope they don't give up or let anger dictate their behavior, even though it's totally understandable in the face of such brutality. Despite being on of the most uncomfortable places to live with little that i like on the surface...i love the people so much, my friends and even strangers fill me with inspiration. It is the center of the world, without a doubt so what's happening now is worth paying attention to as it will ultimately impact everyone. Sometimes I feel bad that we don't pay as much attention to other poorer countries who have similar or worse situations but on the other hand, what is happening now in HK will reverberate throughout the world in a big way, so please care.

I recorded a new demo. That means 10/13 demos are finished. In HK I hope to re-record a few songs with a friend. Hopefully I'll be able to put together an EP or album this time but time is limited so we will have to see.
