The One Thing I Never Want To Be

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

I've just finished writing my last post and I'm feeling inspired. After I posted it I looked at my blog which only has four posts (soon to be five) now. They are: an introductory post, my thoughts on the Law of Attraction, a few cartoons I've drawn, and an extremely serious topic I'm hoping will spark conversation.

Like I said, I looked at it and thought to myself how incredibly different each of those are from one another and I've realized that I LOVE THAT. I don't ever want to post something on social media and have someone say "well that's not like Willow." I don't have one definition. I can be goofy and film a Shanaynay makeup tutorial and make terrible puns or I can be serious and have an intelligent discussion about the world we live in. I don't have a "style" I don't have a "type" and I'm very proud of that.

It took me staring at my four Steemit posts to truly realize that I never want to be predictable or fall under a category. I'll be basic if I wanna be or I'll be outrageous and talk about what's on my mind no matter what. I know this is random, but do any of you ever feel that way? Are you proud of who you are no matter which "you" you choose to be?

And she wants to be unpredictable. What legends always go for!

It's All good 👍

Thank you! :)

It's like I'm reading my own thoughts! 😱
I feel the same way! I love a lot of things, I have a lot of topics I want to talk about and all are different! I'm not falling to only one category. I like makeup, video games, trips, movies, cooking all kinds of stuff!
Totally get you, great post!

Yesss! I love that you feel the same way haha. I'm constantly changing my mind about things too. I even feel like my first introductory post goes against not wanting to give myself a definition. We shouldn't have to sum up who we are in a post, but hey, that day I was feeling it so lol

Good not to have a style type box thing stereotype mold thing defined through collectivism over individualism. It can be better to have customized lives like Kanye West.

I agree!
