Betrayal

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

Well today I felt I should just say something we all can relate to. Betrayal

Before ranting further, its most likely not a rant, but I’m tired of giving my expressions a title. I think ill just define the word betrayal

Betrayal means to hurt someone who trusts you such as a friend or relative, by not giving help or by doing something morally wrong."

Betrayal sucks, it stings, it bites, issa bich. It is one of the plenty pains we all must encounter in life, but it’s the worst. It has a time factor, meaning it burns in our hearts longer. The intriguing but annoying aspect is that it's mostly done by those who we know especially the ones close to our heart.

It is one of the surprising gifts life tends to offer. The most disheartening part of this gift is the beautiful scar it leaves behind, ranging from learning how to trust again, dealing with the aftermath of the shock that most times result in health problems(that come from heart break), the separation of something beautiful to mention but a few. Well I call the scar beautiful cause in my own weird way, anything that points our life in the right direction has a certain beauty to it.

At one point in our lives, we've been betrayed by people or those we truly care about even those we don’t care about too, some persons have been through it a couple of times but what hurts the most is when the betrayer isn't sober for his actions. This act often burns the scar deeply into our hearts increases the pain and sometimes makes it excruciating but what can one do, life continues.

Although, looking back you'd see that you've betrayed some persons trust knowingly and unknowingly. But I don’t know about you, but I usually am repentant and the resulting action is nothing compared to what I did. In the end, its still betrayal and in all of these, we still should be mindful of our actions.

To all those who have been betrayed and still finds it difficult to let go, I know it’s challenging but you do not want to build a house in your heart filled with hatred and pain. Forgiveness should come in play here and love should conquer at the end. The thing is, the way and manner in which it is handled is what counts and you have a choice to either let go and be happy or remain a slave to hatred and limit your life's progress.

Remember, you own the key to your happiness. Be your own happiness

Let go, live life, smile more, love harder....

The future is better than the past, never forget that…

Betrayal sucks…..TRUE

But Love, it works, it heals and it fills.

Betrayal issa real bitchhhh! I like the beginning part though fam. Nicely done

Thank you.... Your opinion is much appreciated

Have you ever betrayed someone..... Out of pressure.... The guilt is crazy.....

Did that in the past, realised that nobody is worth you stabbing someone in the back for... Damaging a life for the edification of someone else is simply worst thing a human can do, to another human.

To be betrayed you must've trusted someone. It really issa bitch.

We can't live life to the fullest without trusting, so betrayal is inbound, one way or another

Betrayal is really a bitch but I realized that when we truly forgive, we become free. So let's learn to forgive for our own sake

Very true.... For own sake we should... Thanks for reading

I feel sad for those who cannot find in their hearts to forgive but what's saddening is I cannot blame them. Who am I to dictate what they should feel? All I can do is to remind them and show them how and pray that someday they will find in their hearts the forgiveness they needed before it is too late. Sometimes we find forgiveness even if it is too late.

Only the wearer of the shoe knows where it hurts

we who watch can only hope the pain stops.....

Really nice post

Thank you
