We wish to all women all best and a beautiful day. Actually is very sad, that we need even today to inform mankind about equalities between sexes. I bet every one of you knows some story, how was someone paid less or treated differently, just because is a woman. This holiday is a reminder, that this is still a problem and it should be eradicated. So how it begins?

The very first observance of a Women's Day was held on February 28, 1909 in New York. Only one year later was March 8 suggested by the 1910 International Woman's Conference to become an "International Woman's Day." In 1917, when women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia, March 8 became a national holiday. Women in Saint Petersburg went on strike that day for "Bread and Peace" – demanding the end of World War I, an end to Russian food shortages, and the end of czarism. This day was later predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries, where was a collective consciousness on the high rank.
