I love this, it puts into prospective what we say (the excuse) vs the reality of our actions or lack of actions. I've learned that this goes for relationships too. If you don't make the effort then what you're saying to your partner, friend, family member is you're not worth it to me. Many people call that taking someone for granted but l like how it feels different when you reframe it. Just like when you reframe the excuses you make for yourself, getting down to the message in much more raw language helps.
