Good day

in life •  7 years ago

Today I had a day off. And I finally was able to read a great book. The book of two great authors. Neil Gayman and Terry Pratchett "Good Omens" There are not many pages in the book, I just do not always have free time to read. So today I made a tea for myself and asked my little ones not to disturb me for at least an hour. They certainly did not succeed, but this did not stop me from reading.

This book about two faithful friends: the angel Aziraphale (heavenly God of the Garden of Eden) and the demon Crowley (snake-tempter) who are friends since the beginning of the world. But their measured life comes to end. Approaching Apocalypse. But neither Aziraphale nor Crowley does not want this. They like their way of life and this world. Aziraphale keeps his bookstore, and Crowley has become accustomed to using electronics and no longer imagines himself without a favorite car. They will have to find a way out of this situation. And in this story there are witches, horsemen of the Apocalypse, demons, catcher on witch, and four small robbers. This is a good and funny story.
