The project, called 'Joy session', consists of capturing the last moments of different people with their pets, which have little time left to live.
Saying goodbye to a pet is one of the most difficult things that many people at some point in their life face. To make this process less painful, an American photographer devised a way to immortalize animals that are terminally ill with their project called 'Joy session'.
Sarah Ernhart is the owner of the photography studio of pets 'Sarah Beth Photography', which since 2006 works in Minneapolis, United States.
As described by Yahoo Spain, under the name 'Joy Sessions', Sarah published a series of images that record the last moments of dogs with terminal illnesses or that are already old, with their owners.
"Without a doubt it can be very emotional. It is a very sensitive moment for these people who have spent their whole lives with their pets, "said the photographer.
The heartbreaking photographs of animals in a final embrace with their masters, shows the unconditional love that exists between man and animal.
Then we leave the wonderful images.
