Sunflowers
The sunflower moves in the most direct position in front of the sun so that it can obtain the maximum rays of sun.
This is a symbol of spiritual faith, and worship because we follow our belief system as the sunflower moves to cope with the life-giving rays of the sun.
Yellow means vitality and intelligence. It is a symbol of happiness too.
The sunflower as a symbol can also represent the unshakable faith that guides the soul to the highest spiritual attunement. They are also a symbol of good luck, wealth and ambition.
As it is a yellow flower, the sunflower can be compared to the solar plexus chakra (Manipura). This chakra (and its color) governs the intellect, and is a central force of self-awareness and self-evolution. The sunflower could be a useful symbol in meditation as a means to reinforce safety and confidence
