Hello new world :) ....... My name is Zee-shan-za-man but you can call me Zee :) Aspiring entrepreneur with a soft spot for football or soccer if your reading this in the states ;)
First of all I would like to say steemit is amazing and Im sure we can all see this is going to be one hell of a ride on this platform.
What I intend to do on here is blog/vlog and share my journey as best I can in becoming a successful entrepreneur. Ive got addicted to the challenge of building an idea from nothing into a company that can potentially change peoples lives for the better.
I feel entrepreneurship can allow you to express yourself in ways no other professional career can and its one of the main reasons I choose this path in life. Im nowhere where I want to be but I know I will get to where Im searching for inside of me.
If I can help anyone along the way with their understanding of "the game" as I like to call it then feel free to ask me any questions in the near distant future.

"If you learn how to make money FOR your self, BY yourself only then will you be truly free"--truer words have never been spoken. I worked very hard when I was in my 20's to get an engineering degree. I worked full time while I was in college.
I've now worked in corporate America for 8 years and I hate it. Every day I go into work I feel like I die a little bit inside. There's no windows and only fluorescent lights and computer screens that strain my eyes on a daily basis. The facility I work in is dusty and dirty. The management has only their self-interest in mind...I could go on and on but it would take several pages of text to fully describe all the things I hate about it. I've thought about going to another job but it's like trading the devil I know for the devil I don't know which is not a very smart thing to do. It's a gamble at best.
It's a paycheck and a pretty good one at that but the amount of time I spend there being miserable and feeling trapped on a daily basis has crushed me the past year or so. I've been working really hard to get a few different businesses of my own off the ground but it's very slow because I spend so much time at my regular job.
I think all of us here have the thought in the back of our minds that in several years steemit could be huge and be our ticket to financial independence. I'm not counting on it and I'm working on other things outside my normal job as well. But that's the dream for those of us who missed out on the early days of bitcoin.
Best of luck to you in whatever your own businesses are. I wouldn't wish a life of corporate slavery on my worst enemy. This was an excellent post and you deserve every bit of rewards you get for it. You've got my upvote, for what it's worth.

Thank you for your comment and insight in your personal life.
Life takes all in different directions and its a process of understanding who we are and how we can best contribute to the world. Its probably the hardest things to do because we grow up in an education environment that shapes us for 'professional careers' without really understanding what that means.
This is exactly what I have had to struggle with and still am. As long as you wake up every morning content and grateful of the opportunities that lie infant of you then you will be fine.

I'm so sorry you are stuck in a position that makes you unhappy. However - that company seems especially horrible. No windows? A dirty and dusty facility? For the sake of your own well-being, I would recommend finding someplace to work that isn't so soul crushing. Your health and happiness should be paramount.

I agree. Changing jobs is difficult and time consuming and I'm afraid I'll end up somewhere with different problems that are just as bad. But yes I agree health and happiness should be what's the most important in life. Money very obviously isn't happiness. I'm not wealthy but I make good money but it comes at a great price.
