With technology advancing so quickly and the devices becoming so disposable consumed, it is a treat to see something from the past.
This Apple II plus still works. It has an 80 megabyte external hard drive that also still works and the hard drive itself was $3000 back in the day. Square little monochrome monitor and a mechanical (clicky) keyboard that seems to have come back into style lately with the gamers.

Good to see old solid technology so proudly displayed at the local computer store.

What was your first computer?

Commodore 64 :) .. I remember my whole class gathering around the schools first computer for one lesson a week .. I think it was a BBC micro lol

I was talking to a friend today and he had one back in the day that we played. King's quest and loading games from tape. So good.

We are showing our age.

I had the Commodore 64. All my classrooms in grade school had the Apple 2. I remember playing Where in The World is Carman Sandiego and Lemonade Stand on the Apple. Commodore had much better graphics.

Oregon Trail?

I remember our school only had the budget for 1 computer that was wheeled to classrooms from its home in the library. Commodore was awesome.
