Opportunities appear all the time, but to take advantage of them you need to be prepared for them. There's no point in wanting opportunities if you're not ready to take advantage of them, this would be like waiting to take 10 on a test without even knowing the content.
There is a phrase that says "When a door closes, two open", but it is not so, for this to happen it is necessary to look for ways to open new doors. Imagine that you lost your job and now you want a better job or who knows how to set up your own business, what should you do to make it happen*?.

Study and prepare as much as possible so that when the opportunity comes, grasp it. But what happens to most people is exactly the opposite, people wait for opportunities, but do not prepare for the moment that happens.
Those who are better prepared always do their best, even in times of crisis. It is very common for people to start preparing when an opportunity appears, but until they can prepare someone has already taken the opportunity.
Always being prepared is the best way to get the opportunity. If you want to be an F1 pilot, astronaut or start your own company study as much as possible on the issues related to it and be prepared that an opportunity will appear sooner or later, if it does not appear, create a new opportunity with the knowledge you have acquired.
