In general, we seek professional assistance to identify the source of our problems when we are unhappy with our current jobs, experience breakups, have trouble in our relationships?
Are you unsure about our career plans, feel restless and unhappy all the time, or are under a lot of financial stress. This could occasionally be a life coach or an expert.
We frequently search for an external issue. But do outside forces determine our worth? Do we make an effort to appear happy and content and concentrate too much on the outside world, or our surroundings?
Do we think that happiness is a product of outside forces and that happiness can only be attained through them?
Brene Brown does a great job at explaining the difference between joy and happiness in her book, "The Gifts of Imperfection." Happiness, according to her, is a feeling that naturally depends on outside factors.
A new romance, a new home, a new outfit, a job promotion, and many other things could qualify as this. Happiness fluctuates, just like other emotions, based on your decision on how to react to outside circumstances.
Contrarily, joy is defined by Brene Brown as the inner connection that exists between you and the flowing life that surrounds you. It is created, not ephemeral like an emotion.
We have to acknowledge that happiness is a natural human emotion and that it is a wonderful thing in our life. Happiness is something we should all strive for, but is it the only thing that makes you feel good about yourself?
It becomes a "happiness addiction" when you stop nourishing the joy within and begin searching for happiness outside of yourself, depending on the "power" that comes from outside sources.
Happiness cannot be sustained for very long by a single outside influence. Happiness will gradually lose its intensity. When it does, there will be a type of decline as the emotion fades. You obviously don't want to experience it.
Therefore, we search for other things that will make us happy. That concludes the cycle. Can this cycle be broken, though?
Which qualities do you possess? What aspects of yourself make you happy? What chances do you have to better yourself? It's time to turn inward now.
Asking questions of others is something that most people find difficult, but you shouldn't continuously challenge other people's views and be suspicious of what they have to say.
However, this does not mean that you should add anything to your list without thinking it through or talking to others about it, just because a few individuals close to you mention it.
This can involve a range of pursuits, including going for a stroll, unwinding in the bathtub, practicing mindfulness, daydreaming, sketching, Pilates, and skin care. Try a few different activities until you find one that suits you. Take time for yourself, spend time with yourself!
