Took the kids down to Caister Lifeboat fete this morning to show our support. It’s a good fun event - I drove so unfortunately couldn’t trial the local ales on offer. The girls enjoyed riding various fairground rides and my youngest enjoyed some ice cream. She loves it! I bought some raffle tickets to win a ride on the lifeboat but am not sure when the draw is taking place.

Great day for it. A little cooler today, but it's supposed to warm up again tomorrow. I'm just glad it's cooler here than most of Europe

We had a cooler one yesterday - Sod’s law as we had a BBQ as friends visited. Today was as warm as they forecast for tomorrow which is also meant to be hotter. May have to sit in the kids paddling pool as they are away.
