My Life Mantra: Keep Moving Forward

"Keep moving forward."

It's just a 3-word sentence but it means alot to me. As a human being, we have to make choices. Choices that can lead us to a good one ... but life doesn't always work that way. Unfortunately, there are these bad choices that bring us to regrets. Regrets than often make us realize there is no hope left. Which drowns us deeper into the midst of darkness. Deeper... deeper than we can imagine.

"Keep moving forward."

A 3-word sentence that always uplifting up my heart. What can you see in darkness? Nothing! ... Nothing. Even I did good things , it didn't satisfied me. Even I tried so hard to quench this thrist I've been experiencing, I still feel always the same. What am I lacking? What has to be done? I vigorously tried to find the answer. But then, I'm blind.

"Keep moving forward."

I was blind. I always knew there is this hope but then avoided it and tried to look for something else. Because of that I was blinded. It's like looking for something white in the dark. But then I realized there is this light. What is it? ... No.

"Keep moving forward."

Who is it? ... God.

"Keep moving forward."

He then said "I am the light of the world; he who follows Me shall by no means walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life". He loves me ... us! so much. But... but why did He let me experience all these sufferings if He loves me in the first place?

"Keep moving forward."

Oh God hath not promised sky always blue.
God hath not promised smooth roads and wide.
But God hath promised strength for the day
Rest for the labor, light for the way
Grace for the trials, help from above.
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

"Keep moving forward."

I knew it from that moment, that He is the answer. He was and always be there. I just need to come forward to Him. No matter what we are experiencing, we just have to go and abide to Him. Whenever we are experiencing trials , we just have to face them by relying to Him. If it wasn't because of Him, my life would have been weary. He taught me to live this life of no regrets. He taught me to...

This is a great mantra, as it is easy to understand, but still, like many mantras, often forgotten or ignored, this contest is really helping me to take a step back and think about all these mantras.
