As far as I'm concerned, I think everyone is a little racist whether they admit to it or not. So much so, I try to keep from using the word "racism" and instead use the word "realism".
(my response)
definition of a racist - a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
Maybe this sounds unrealistic but I feel that it is foolish to evaluate a person based on looks alone.
I think humans are capable of more. As a species (homo sapiens) are just not there yet. We are still very tribal. But I think some individual human beings (some of us) can see other individuals. Some of us can see beyond tribe regardless of the stigma and stereotypes that race and nationalism labels each of us with. Some of us (a very small minority) are rational enough to see the package and know there is a conscious being behind those eyes. The content of character is evaluated and race is a colorful, superficial wrapping. (bruce)
