2.Unlike gold, once you buy a Diamond it has very little resale value. It’s a lousy investment.
3.Raw diamonds are super ugly. It is only after they are carefully polished do they become beautiful.
4.Their main use is in manufacturing and not in decoration. Drill bits have diamond tips because it is the hardest substance in the world.
5.People in countries like Liberia and Sierra Leone suffered and continue to suffer from the exploitation of diamond companies. It is one of the most inhumane businesses in the world.
