Personal story on going Vegan

My discovery of vegan lifestyle began about 6 years ago. I was going through a transformational time in my life in all areas. Some call it Saturn Return from an astrological perspective. It’s when you go through a lot of events, often very challenging ones and the world around you that you once knew can changes in a blink of an eye. That’s exactly what happened to me back then.

All parts of my life experienced change including my diet. I used to think that I ate healthy based on all that I been thought by mainstream culture. My diet consisted mostly of seafood, greens, and dairy. However I did not feel my best physically and I developed acne. The doctor wanted to put me on a hormonal pill to clear my skin condition. However that just seemed not like the solution to me and I refused that and started to do my own research.

After weeks of research I realized that my diet of dairy was the main factor of my skin condition. I decided to do an experiment and cut out dairy for some time.

Within a week my skin was back to normal and I felt much better!
As I kept on researching I realized that eating animal fats and proteins is very harmful for our health and has been shown in studies to raise a person's risk of developing serious lifelong illnesses such as heart disease, & cancer. I cut all meat out of my diet including seafood. I started to feel better than ever and my skin was glowing!

After moving to Hawaii and living in environment with abundance of tropical fruit and vegetables I decided to take things to the next level and eat mostly raw vegan foods. The reason why raw uncooked plant-based foods are better is that they contain enzymes. No bottled supplement or prepackaged food can compare with the life force of fresh, living raw food.
At this point my health and wellbeing was the best I have had experienced in my life!

Here are some of the main benefits that I have experienced on this lifestyle.

💚Vibrant health

Since going vegan I rarely ever get sick and I don’t get seasonal flues anymore. I have experienced stronger immunity, & increased energy & heightened mental clarity & great sense of overall wellbeing. Food is the real medicine, not the pharmaceuticals.

💚Physical Beauty benefits

Some of my main beauty benefits that I have experienced include healthy clear skin, clear eyes, attractive skin tone and ideal weight. Excess weight will drop. You will reach your ideal weight healthy way. Going vegan is the healthy way to keep the unwanted fat off for good while leaving you with plenty of energy. No need for expensive beauty products or treatments when it’s all abundantly available in nature to nourish and beautify us from within. My beauty routine begins at the farmers market! :)

💚Enhanced spiritual presence & Deeper connection to nature

Since making food choices of organic fresh fruits and vegetables, I have felt a spiritual shift inside of me. My clean body also deepened my intuitive and psychic abilities. My mind was no longer hazy from eating processed foods and my brain was no longer fogged up, I could see things with more clarity. I could tap into more of my innate knowing, I started to notice more beauty in the world around me, I felt more connected with my spiritual body and with nature.

💚Living a life of compassion

I have always loved animals but little did I knew before how cruel is the industry of mass farming. The animals involved in mass industry farming are exposed to the most cruel, unsanitary and horrific conditions. Living a vegan lifestyle is of course the most compassionate way to exist. We are helping to end animal exploitation. It feels so good knowing that no animal needs to die for me to live. I love this quote “If you can be anything, be kind"

Every decision that you make, individually, affects those around you and your environment. Why not make choices that empower you and supports the wellbeing of other sentient beings and this planet. All life deserves respect, dignity, and compassion.

I love this post. I have also experienced these changes upon going vegan and by far the most profound is the enhanced spiritual presence I now have. It's amazing how what we feed ourselves impacts so much more than we once realized.
