Founder of the Indonesian community Latte Art Artist (ILAA) Ardian Maulana, explains as a coffee producing country, Indonesia has a variety of types of coffee that has a different taste. Adding sugar, Ardian says, means taking care of the caring side of the coffee itself.

On the other hand, drinking coffee with sugar is also not good for health. "Sugar is not a friend of coffee," he said.
According to him, the addition of sugar in coffee is caused because many people do not understand how to brew good coffee. Adding sugar is considered to reduce the bitter taste of coffee.
"We have been drinking coffee for 500 years, but maybe the last 10 years have learned how to brew a good coffee," Ardian added.
It's not easy to change the habit of adding sugar to a cup of coffee. For starters, Ardian suggests choosing the lightest coffee of its concentration, in the sense that it is not too bitter or sour.
