Hey, everyone!

Here is the video that inspired me to write this post:

First and foremost, I want to state that I actually really like some of Bhad Bhabie's music. Especially Gucci Flip Flops. Just my opinion. :D

Danielle Bregoli (aka Bhad Bhabie) started her rise to fame with her now infamous time on Dr. Phil. Although she was then considered to be a snobby brat that had a negative relationship with her mother, she is now known to be a social media star and rising entrepreneurial mogul. How did she manage to make such a dramatic change?

It was all because of viral marketing. According to Search Salesforce, viral marketing is...

Viral marketing is any marketing technique that induces websites or users to pass on a marketing message to other sites or users, creating a potentially exponential growth in the message's visibility and effect.

Everything started with Danielle being known as The Catch Me Outside Girl for her time on Dr. Phil. The virality of the clip where she says, "catch me outside, how 'bout that?" was the rocket that propelled her to mainstream stardom. It sort of became a meme and for that specific reason, the clip was quickly shared on social media sites and seen by millions of eyes all over the world.

This concept of videos going viral and people becoming famous for a few days happens quite often. A great example of this would be the "Damn Daniel" video that was spreading like wildfire. The two boys that were involved in the video even made it on Ellen! But where are they now? After their 15 minutes of fame, their fame disappeared and their lives returned to normal. Danielle Bregoli had the same thing happen to her. A viral video that she was in allowed her to have her 15 minutes of fame. I'm sure everyone thought that her fame would disappear just as quickly as it came, but she isn't going anywhere any time soon since she is making music and becoming a power to be reckoned with.

Danielle Bregoli is just one example of the great use of viral marketing. Many companies and corporations have used this marketing strategy in order to get more people to view their content. A great example of this is Doritos and their Super Bowl commercials. Using a combination of humor and celebrities, they create short videos that will make people share the videos like crazy.

Viral marketing is an amazing strategy that can be taken advantage of by anyone. The only issue is that people are quick to forget and so they will soon move on to the next video and temporary superstar. In order to keep the momentum high, one must make sure to continue to produce content. Most people receive their 15 minutes of fame and since they don't create any more content, people forget about them. With frequent postings on social media, releases of new songs, and collaborations with other celebrities, Danielle Bregoli has kept her name relevant and it all started with viral marketing.

Best Wishes!
