To drop out of college and not continue with my engineering degree, 3 months prior to graduating.

Not having a degree or diploma has humbled me enough to ask the dumbest questions, and receive the best answers from coaches. Sometimes, having a cert will prohibit us from asking questions, fearing it will make us look stupid. That ego can be a downfall of many.

Not having the option to join the workforce (at a good salary), also forced me to map out my own destiny, to create my own "salaries". Yes, building businesses can be tough, but it's rewarding.

My son is homeschooled now, and truth is, I'm not even saving for his college fund. I believe by then, University as a concept as what it is today, will be obsolete. Adults with the ability to adapt and to learn as they go will be able to succeed, and that's a father's hope for a son.
