Good point, thank you for sharing. Life is never fair because "fairness", is just a construct people created to feel themselves more comfortable. To justify their failure.
There is no such thing as "fair" and "not fair".
Wild cats eat baby birds not because they are evil and try to make world unfair to baby birds. They are simply hungry and this is what they do. It's nature, it's the way world works.

All the systems that tried to provide 100% fairness finally failed. Well, North Korea is still there, but I'm not sure it's the best example ...)

This is utter nonsense.
When the ruling class are not elected but chosen based on family, wealth, and other such means, those outside of that class are considered to be of less worth.
The concept of fairness allows us to ask whether the difference is justified. In such a system you would not be able to disagree with it because in your words, you have failed, not the system.
