Butterfly: A beautiful insects

Butterflies are very beautiful.When a single or group of butterfly sit over a flower, that scene attracts every single person.Though we all love this insect but we don’t know clearly about it.Here I am trying to share something interesting with you about this lovely creature.

Butterflies have the typical four-stage insect life cycle but their life cycle is totally interesting.Winged adults of these insects lay eggs on the food plant on which the caterpillars will feed.Their larvae is known as caterpillars.The caterpillars growth is natural though it grows sometimes very rapidly, and when fully developed, pupate in a chrysalis.Metamorphosis is very important for their life cycle.When metamorphosis is complete, the pupal skin splits also the adult insect climbs out, and it flies off when its wings have expanded and dried.There has something so much important about their generations some butterflies, especially in the tropics, have several generations in a year when others have a single generation, and a few who located in cold locations may take several years to pass through their entire life cycle.
