Challenge: My Favourite Bible Verse.

I am to pick just a verse, but this particular one i like is linked together in two verses, but the same meaning can be deduced from the verse 16 alone. It is hard picking a favourite verse. There are so many rich and detailed verses in the Bible, but since i have to pick one, there it is. I used different version as seen from the pictures above, to drive home the point. Psalm 33:16-17.

I really like this verse(s) because it opens our eyes to see our frailties and the need for dependence on God. A man cannot be saved by the multitude of his army, only God can give you victory. Our dependency on human cannot give us lasting and aure victory, neither can our reliance on our wisdom or power. It can never take us farther. We might achieve victory for a while, but it can never be sustained. As strong as a horse is, we can see, even his own strength cannot sustain him.

We might be able to get by with some tiny details and all, but we cannot get by without God. We will always need Him. After we have done all we can, He is the only one that can help us, with all that we can't. Nobody, no, no one, can make it out here alone, without God.

Turn your focus on Him. People will fail you. Your strength will diminish. Your beauty won't last forever. You won't always stay in vogue. Nothing lasts forever, no matter how it feels today. With God's help, you can leap over walls, walk over troops, take giants leap, and even have hope for eternity. God is not man that He would lie, neither is He a son of man, that He would repent. He is a sure present help in times of trouble. Create a relationship with Him today.
