A world without color contest by @derangedvisions

I love color and so do everyone else I presume. So, the contest linked above seemed very interesting to me and I wanted to try it on food with a picture I had taken long back.

The photo is that of a stirfry curry.

Don't you just love the color of the carrot and the color combination with that of the potatoes?

Now imagine the same curry without color.

Does it have the same appeal?

Obviously not. Children are more attracted to the color and presentation rather than the goodness of the dish.

The stirfry is easy to prepare.

Just cut the carrots and potatoes and cook them well with salt and a pinch of turmeric powder. Heat a wok, pour a spoon of oil and season dry red chilies and mustard seeds.
Add the cooked vegetables and stir gently so as not to break down the veggies otherwise, you would end with a mushy substance. Add coconut shavings and stir again and switch off. If you like, you can add chilly flakes or spice powders as per taste.

I wonder how colorblind people have any appetite at all then?

Hope they can see some colors at least
