A bit scared but all I can do is to trust completely.
A week before the wedding where heart and mind is confuse and scared just like any other brides, I approached a tattoo artist who is also a friend of mine to finally have a tattoo. It is his wedding gift and it's actually the best.
"Stay in the Light"
Behind this tattoo is a deeper meaning which can be found in the book of John 8:12 - “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
Light always involves the removal of darkness, the literal contrast between metaphysical good and evil, God and evil forces. The Bible entertains no notion that darkness is the same in strength to God's light. God is the absolute supreme being who rules over the darkness and the powers of evil.
I remember when I was a child I have this fear of being in the dark. I can imagine horrible faces and evil things around. I would even call my sister to come with me if it's dark already and I wanted to pee in the toilet downstairs.
On 2004, when I received Christ as Lord and Savior my life has changed. Whenever I am afraid, I will just sing hymns of worship and pray. Imagination of evil spirits and even the negative thoughts have been defeated and can no longer withstand in my mind now.
I conquer fear because I stay in the light!
We must stay in the light which is God. The light is our guide, without it men stumbles and are helpless. Light accompany us in all activities in life.
