It's a great step forward for the vision of Litecoin! Hopefully this increases adoption from businesses worldwide and makes it more easily accessible for everyone to use it! Onwards and upwards from here.

Lightning isn't a product that runs on Litecoin but rather a network that coins can participate on. This release is actually only for BTC but LTC can also ride the rails and even convert freely into BTC or visa versa with cross atomic swaps.
