After Anthony Cicoria was struck by a thunderstorm, he survived a catastrophe and turned into a musician.
Anthony Cicoria, 67, is a classical musician, but who would have thought that this talented classical musician would have no knowledge of classical music before the age of 42.
And all these changes actually originated from the experience of being struck by lightning many years ago.
In 1994, 42-year-old Cicoria was making a call at a public phone booth in the suburbs of New York. Suddenly, the sky was covered with clouds and a bolt of lightning pierced the sky. A blast of thunder immediately struck Cicoria, who was holding the microphone in the phone booth.
Cicoria fell into shock immediately after being struck by lightning.
The lady waiting in line outside the door to call saw this scene. Fortunately, she herself happened to learn emergency resuscitation. After the lady tried her best to rescue her, Cicoria miraculously came back to life.
Cicoria, who escaped from the dead, did not change significantly at first. After a period of time, he suddenly began to have a strange impulse——
I really want to listen to classical music. This desire is as strong as a drug addiction, which makes Cicoria want to stop.
Although he never listened to classical music, played the piano, or touched the violin before the age of 42.
After so fascinated by classical music, Cicoria began to study music eagerly.
The most amazing thing is that whenever he listens to a piece of ready-made music, there will always be a song that has never appeared in his mind automatically, which is automatically original after his brain is activated.
At the age of 42, Cicoria became a musician after being struck by a thunderstorm.
Tommy McHugh: Painter made by stroke
British McHugh was an ordinary carpenter for the first half of his life.
One day when he was 51 years old, he was about to start work, but suddenly felt a sharp pain in his brain. Soon blood poured out from his eyes, nostrils, and ears, and he instantly fell to the floor.
After 5 hours of rescue, McHugh finally stopped the blood, and the doctor removed two aneurysms on both sides of the brain and survived.
Although this massive brain hemorrhage almost killed McHugh, McHugh has had a magical look and feel since then.
In the past, he had no interest in painting and art. After that stroke, McHugh was magically fascinated by painting. He hadn't taken a class or received any training, but he had an uncontrollable desire to take what appeared in his mind. The picture is recorded.
Various faces always appeared in his brain. He said that these faces were the personalities in his mind, and they cried for help. Because these pictures were fleeting, McHugh had to use the walls of his home as a canvas. So that when these faces come to mind, they can be drawn anytime and anywhere.
The floors, walls, and ceilings of McHugh's house are all painted with various faces.
Sometimes there is no space left, McHugh will cover the previous one with a new painting (face) and continue to draw on it.
He just kept painting all the faces that came to him in his mind with obsessive-compulsive disorder, 7 days a week, 18 hours a day without interruption.
There were more paintings, and McHugh's paintings also gained some fame. He later opened a gallery and sold his works to support his obsessive-compulsive disorder of "face creation" until his death in 2012.
