Today is the day that according to us God sent his Star, for the wise men to follow. They followed it to where our Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Just like the star that God sent to show us where the saviour of the world was born so is his life. He is the Light in the world that we must follow and listen to as we will not become known to Him if we do not live that way.
He was sent down to earth by our God, who was his Father and this was his only Son,who he sent to die for our sins.
There is so much to be thankful for and if it was not for that Star, we would have been lost for ever.
The star led the wisemen to where Jesus was born.
We have this wonderful saviour that was born in a crypt because there was no room at the in.
That is the way Jesus lived on earth, he never wanted anything more than to help people that is why he is the Light in our hearts that we must follow. We sometimes want more than we need, therefore it is good to give rather than receive.
This was the way our saviour’s teaches us and therefore, we try to do our best but we are all sinners and keep making mistakes. Therefore God said:
If we do not live up to his expectations we will be doomed, and if we do good and people see, it must not because we are boasting.
What we do for others must be kept in secret for if we do it any other way we will not reach the Kingdom of Heaven.
But if we do this is the promise that God made to us:
So if we just listen to him and follow him we just might stand a chance of reaching this wonderful place.
Life is short but eternity means forever, and I for one want to be in the right place for eternity.
