Sometimes a person gets so involved in bullshit busy work, sure they pay your salary but you need to also do actual things that you can learn from or gain something more than money.
When I started out playing with photoshop I would come from work and fiddle for hours obsessively trying to get one effect right. Never drawing or anything fancy just basic photo manips, gauge someone's eyes out or set a baby on fire.
The basics.
So today I saw a post from Maya525 - whaleshares post and then another from YkDesign and thought jeez they are so good, drawing and brilliant manips. So I looked in the mirror acknowledged that I am a skinny dumb fuck with no talent and even less of a future, sometimes you need to give yourself a motivational talking to.
I can completely elaborate on that but I do not feel like using the NSFW tag, I would not either but I guess it is the thought that counts. So alas I sat down and was like cool let us see what pixabay has to offer because copyright and shit I can't be bothered with but I guess people get a bit butthurt when uploading a 20mp image with no protection and someone uses it without sucking their cocks.
I guess not being good at anything can allow me to not give a shit whether people use things I make without paying... Oh wait that is why they come to the shop and I only upload images shit enough to impress their facebook friends because humans are trash and you can't trust the things... Get over it jeez, and yip still worthless but they will try to make a pretty penny regardless. I completely got off the point of this post.
Look I took screenshots of trash
On page one I saw this shot of the inside of what they titled "Train Station". Now I am not sure whether this is english because I can't see any trains. Regardless it was a good start and 0 on the scrollbar. I call that a win.
Then I was like cool we need something to put in the train not train station, obviously, a hipster learning his first ballet pose, but sucking so they titled it "Break Dancer on Period". This will go perfectly, except for the light which I realised later maybe I should have scrolled more. Beggars can't be choosers I said without it making any sense.
I put a hr tag above so now I need a title that will explain the wrong thing.
I am lazy and I like quick but I can't stand something that is supposed to be quick then it turns into more work - side note there was no money exchanged so all charges were dropped. I then use the pen tool to trace, it gives me control and it is nice and calming wasting 15min of your life tracing a dancer clenching their buttplug.
Then create a mask thingy that takes his hipster home away. Just like being stupid enough to get married without the right papers or relying on crypto to pay your rent.
We place Mr. Butthurt in the background and hope we can guess scale. Now it is very difficult to account for ego so instead, I just eyeball it. While telling him that he is a failure and his Mother wants a divorce because he has gained weight. There we go, just right.
You know the drill.
Remember I said I just wanted to do something, lazy. So actually making this image epic with super powers or any other played out Marvel or DC related FX is just too much. Instead, I went with CNN or Fox News, maybe the untold story of 912 the day Bob smiled a bit too much. This feels eerily like an autobiography.
Obviously, we need blood brushes then. Since I am pretty much an anorexic freak, depending who you ask and I agree with my alcoholic dad, it is not a problem if you don't want to quit. So we need blood brushes because I have very little to take pictures of. Also, it is very sloppy work to not clean up after dismissing the help.
Once you have that then you have everything. Enough to cause confusion due to a lack of bodies. Not the fact that Mr. Buttplug should not have killed his ballet teacher.
Then again the teacher might be the reason he requires one in the first place, and at least he is an A+ hip-hop dancer for attending at least one morning session. We are currently unsure how many evening sessions there were, and will update you once new leads come in.
Testing out light, since the light in the front was just pissing me off.
Then the fun begins, getting blood all over the place. Realising he had to step through it to take the bodies out of the shot at the very least. Also realising that he is quite chubby from the front and that has never made any sense. Skinny yet you have a fat stomach? Playing both teams are you, smart.
Why? because you may insult in both directions obviously. You may still insult both directions, including straight and gay, so that covers at least North, South, East and West. any good scout knows you need to be able to navigate if you wish to survive.
Deciding the colours are just not bloody enough and well too damn colourful. I add a bit of my own, remember lazy. I am not going to deal with millions of colours when I can deal with a very select range instead. Give them proper attention and love, make them famous and wealthy.
Share the hidden beauty of my chosen colours, the unappreciated and neglected, not just colours though, it helps to bring out detail where I want it and hide others I don't. It shows seemingly good parts that you are free to acknowledge but darkens parts I am too sensitive for you to mention. Tonight I will have wet dreams about all the nice things people tell me.

Yip, done and dusted. There are many things a person can improve from more light reflecting in the blood or even checking that the perspectives are correct. That does sound like work though. I will say the same thing I do to my boss. Don't bother me with silly shit, and frankly, if I wait a bit they will most likely be dead and not need it anymore.

I've done some photoshop stuff and also used Paintshop Pro, but nothing like this. It looks amazing!
I like the walk-through for your process that you've described in your writing. And the witticisms you are so good at adding into the mix. You've got a way with words and making things interesting, funny and entertaining. You should write a book, if it interests you. I think you could make even a "How To" type book entertaining and fun to read!

I am supposed to be doing the nanowrimo thing novel for this month, I have 500 out of 50 000 word so far , with 10 days left to go. Maybe for a how to I would want to brush up a lot more, there are people who learn the ins and outs of things I just learn enough to do what I need. Maybe the witticisms are a way to cover up that I know jack shit. lol

Even your reply is witty. It's a gift. It just comes naturally to you. You do it without even realizing it at times, I'd bet. Gives your writing a lot of character and a familiarity that readers enjoy. It's fun to read!
I can't imagine that many people could write a novel that would be any good at all in a month's time. Even if one excluded most or all of the things that real novel writers do apart from the actual writing of the novel itself, such as outlines, character creation, etc. It seems that in that time limit, one would have to be writing most of their waking hours, and if they had to work at a job 8 hours a day, it just doesn't seem possible. It's not the 50,000 words so much as it would be the difficulty to just be writing constantly almost, while the story itself is being created from scratch.

and to answer, you can literally say anything about me and my dark parts there will never be any backlash, but it also does mean that depending on how much I pretend to care, obviously, there is the fun of seeing someone cringe who can't take their own medicine... Nailed it. :)
You should definitely play a bit with photoshop it is user-friendly but if you do not intend to pirate or buy then you will have to use GIMP , it takes some getting used to with a lot more depression involved but is 100% free.

Ok, so, I love the picture. It's creepy cool.
But just like when you try to help me and explain to me how to use photoshop, I am always like... huh??????
That's how I feel with this. I could read your post 100 times and still not know how to make a picture look like this. Even with the pictures.
But I freaking loved the story of Mr. Buttplug / Mr. Butthurt... not sure which one you want me to use... it was very creative and the picture definitely tells the story a great deal. I would say next time, take a little video that I can watch from start to finish or I will never be able to understand. hahahah this was awesome Pen

I would say don't change a thing Pen. I promise this wouldn't be as epic as it is if you have "better instructions" then it would be just as boring as every other tutorial and we can't have that. You can always just take over the computer, do your magic and let them watch. Hehe thats so much easier
