HowTo: LIVESTREAM VIDEO ON LINKEDIN

Yes you can livestream for YouTube Live or Facebook Live DIRECTLY into LinkedIn.
(PS this is for my students online and in class at Uni of Sydney but if you find it useful, please let me know).

Create a New LinkedIn Post then you have to decide:

• Schedule for tomorrow etc (Google Hangouts with YouTube Live)
• Live Now (Facebook Embed)
• Your chosen Webinar or video livestream package as long as it has a video link or an embed code.
  For 1. Go to YOUTUBE LIVE, set date & time etc then copy the YouTube link into the iframe box (the square with the plus on LinkedIn post) e.g. https://youtu.be/dEYSbc9GRJ0
  

When people click they get the date & time the video will livestream.

For Livestreaming from Facebook (no scheduling) start the livestream (pink button), then get the video link eg and add it in the Video box (left side of Post editing). You can also just try posting the pure link on LinkedIn and it will auto-embed on LinkedIn (not on Github!) .

In the video above I am just testing the livestream on Facebook (and talking to myself LOL) but you can see how it works.

Don't forget to hit PUBLISH on your LinkedIn post.
