This fragile, but beautiful flower, a real decoration of any glade. I very rarely see these flowers in Moldova. But, this is only the first impression. in fact, we are surrounded daily by a reminder of these colors. They are everywhere, even when we do not notice them.

I cover the car with a tarpaulin, and I see these flowers, I dress my sneakers, they mention, I dress a shirt, it reminds me, I go to bed, and then a reminder of this flower, to be precise, about this plant. My belly aches, I immediately remember this flower! Linen. You can safely say that this is a universal plant.

It is difficult to list everything for which humanity should thank this plant. First of all, his Creator.ф

I do not know how this plant is used in your countries, friends, I will talk about its use in Ukraine.

I live in the city of Rovno. In this city there is a combine that produces linen from linen fibers. These small plants give raw materials for a very powerful infrastructure.

Let's try to list the products made of linen fibers. Bags for different applications, they are very durable. They can be more and less dense. Moisture-resistant tarpaulins, they are also made of flax. Clothes, shoes, bed linen, furniture upholstery, bags, it is difficult to list everything that flax fiber is used for.

Fabrics made from linen can withstand high temperatures. They are used to produce clothes for gas welders.

Lin is a source of high-quality oil, which is used in various fields.

Medicine did not ignore flax. When flowers bloom, a seed box is formed on the plant. These seeds are a source of oils and medicines.

From linseed oil, varnish and varnishes for wood processing are made.

If you have benefited from the cream to fight with sonechnye burns, then, its composition is likely to include flax oil.

Flour! Yes, flaxseed flour. I have not tried pastry from such flour, but I think it's tasty and expensive.

Here is a very nice and very useful plant.

I have heard of linen (of course!) and linseed oil but so many more uses! Such delicate flowers, and as usual, beautiful, beautiful photography!

I googled "Linum nervosum" and am only able to confirm that the name of this plant is correct and nothing else - your post has information that is not found from google nor from Wikipedia.
Amazing knowledge - once again or "as always"!

Thank you!

I found more with "linum linseed linens"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flax

Flax (Linum usitatissimum), also known as common flax or linseed, is a member of the genus Linum in the family Linaceae. It is a food and fiber crop cultivated in cooler regions of the world. The textiles made from flax are known in the Western countries as linen, and traditionally used for bed sheets, underclothes, and table linen. The oil is known as linseed oil. In addition to referring to the plant itself, the word "flax" may refer to the unspun fibers of the flax plant. The plant species is known only as a cultivated plant,[2] and appears to have been domesticated just once from the wild species Linum bienne, called pale flax.[3]

I do not know the differences between these ...
