Dear All,

I would like to give you a good idea on securely installing lamp environment ready for a production environment.

If you are using Amazon AWS, I highly recommend you use Amazon Linux as your image and it already has some security benefits and fine turning done specifically for web security.

If you are not on AWS, or trying to install lamp in an independent server, you can still follow the procedures here

http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/install-LAMP.html

I don't want to repeat the entire content of the article, but you can just have a look at it to get a very good idea on the sercure lamp installation for Linux.

Thanks,
Jacksu8
