Hey Steemit Friends and Family!

Heeeeeeello Steemit!

Let me start by saying that I'm so excited for this new platform and look forward to getting to know y'all! I will be posting all sorts of stuff in the coming days. You'll see some joint content with my fellow Linux lover and advocate @rhyt. We will surely cover more than just Linux as our conversations follow some fun tangents.

My posts will be covering a broad range of topics. You might see me write about how I used to weigh 700lbs! I might share my love for briar smoking pipes and talk about my collection. Perhaps review a good craft or home brew creation; the possibilities are endless... you'll just have to wait and see. I'm finishing up my Bachelor's in Information Technology this month, so you may have to wait till August to see some of this content.

Primarily I just wanted to say 'Hi!' and let you know that I'm glad to be here and look forward to a higher level of engagement.

1. I really did use to weigh 700lbs (DAAAAAMN!).
2. I happily whack my goat whenever I can (I'll explain later)
3. I did my Private Pilot ground school when I was 17.
4. I went back to college when I was 41 (Stay in school kids!)
