Following 21 years at Barcelona, Lionel Messi has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain, a French giant. Messi signed a two-year deal with PSG, with the option of a third year, and is expected to earn $41 million annually under the terms of the deal.
Barcelona's announcement five days earlier that it couldn't bear to re-sign the 34-year-old caused shockwaves throughout the soccer world, and PSG moved quickly to secure the services of the six-time FIFA Player of the Year.
