Introduction
LPI is a decentralized platform for asset management. Our goal is to bring institutional investors into the crypto market with a very low entry barrier. LPI DAO is a unique investment opportunity to the market, as it capitalizes on the growth & success of the launchpad market. To the LPI DAO investors, the fund serves as both a great ROI and passive income generator which lets your crypto work for you.
LPI DAO: The Future of the Launchpad Industry
The launchpad industry is one of the most interesting and innovative industries in the market today. Among all other sectors, it has been a real success story so far. The launchpad products are usually innovative, they use cutting edge technologies, they can be used in different ways and they can be used by multiple platforms. The only drawback to this segment is that it is very new and there isn’t much of a history of other products like them in the market.
The LPI DAO is an index fund that uses crypto as its main asset class which capitalizes on the growth & success of the launchpad market. It’s a passive income generator for investors who want to generate their own ROI without having to do anything at all except having their crypto tokens do all the work for them.
ICO Details
From a technical perspective, an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is a way for a startup to raise capital from the public. It may sound simple, but there are lots of details that go into the entire process. In order to be successful, you need to know just how much money you get and how it will be distributed among investors. As well as being technically feasible, there are legal and regulatory issues that need to be considered too. The way ICOs work can vary greatly depending on the country (and sometimes even the state or province) where they happen to be happening and what regulations they fall under. In this guide, we will cover some of these details so you can make an informed decision whether to invest in ICOs or not.
First things first: What is an ICO?
The initial coin offering (ICO) is a fundraising method which allows startups with cryptocurrency tokens (like Ether or Bitcoin) to raise funds from investors without having to go through any traditional channels such as banks or exchange gateways. Instead of using traditional methods like bank loans and equity crowdfunding platforms, you use your own investments raised in cryptocurrencies instead. One main advantage of this approach is that it allows for much lower risk than other forms of fundraising; since the fund can only have a limited amount raised and if any tokens are not sold, the money will remain available for investors who might have purchased them early on when they were cheaper and less risky than now — since they haven’t been sold yet!
Another advantage is that because you don’t need to go through any formal processes like form-filling etc., it’s very easy to set up — which makes it ideal for companies who want their first venture funded by someone outside their own industry who knows what they’re doing but won’t mind investing in a startup whose value proposition doesn’t fit their existing understanding of what’s possible with blockchain technology!
In addition, there are several benefits associated with raising funds… These include:
• You’ll gain access to new markets which might otherwise be excluded from your business model due to lack of liquidity or regulatory issues related with cryptocurrencies — think China!
• You’ll start receiving investment interest from people who aren’t familiar with crypto-currencies yet; all that means for companies is more time dedicated towards building/marketing/supporting your product!
• You’ll gain access to new customers who might not ordinarily invest in crypto-currencies… because nowadays only accredited investors
How it Works
A platform is a collection of apps and services that facilitates interaction between two or more parties. The LPI DAO platform can be thought of as a large-scale version of the traditional app store that allows anyone to create their own apps and sell them for a profit.
This is an interesting concept, which I’ve often talked about in my past articles on this blog. It involves the following:
• Advertising — The LPI DAO platform will allow you to monetize your app in various ways. You can simply advertise it, as is currently done with Google Play, and receive payment for each install (i.e., users who download your app will get a small payout). Alternatively, you can also charge money for access to your app via an in-app purchase mechanism — which could be done via AdMob ads, etc..
• Sharing — If you are already running an existing business on the LPI DAO platform, then having a website is also possible. In this case, you will be able to share links back and forth with other customers via email and other means of communication.
• Pricing — When it comes to pricing models like those described above (as well as advertising), there are several ways one might choose to set up the price structure of such products. One way would be to base it off of how much revenue one expects in their lifetime from the product; another way would involve some kind of long-term plan where only volume sales will count towards the final target revenue figure?
Personally, I like pricing based on lifetime value (LTV) because I think this method is far more realistic than price based on A/B testing or any other method where any changes could be made at any time (which could lead to severe problems). However, if you want to base your pricing models off some kind of programmatic bidding system or other automated buying mechanisms then that might be preferable too!
I’ll discuss both methods more closely below.
The Team
In this post I’ll be discussing the team behind LPI DAO. There are a few people who are a part of the team, but they don’t deserve much space because they are not enough to make a difference in the portfolio company.
LPI DAO (like many other investors) is part of a large and growing ecosystem of tech startups which have successfully launched their product, but are unable to monetize their products. Unlike other incubators and accelerators, LPI DAO is not focused on building products for the market, it is focused on building products for its investors.
There are two kinds of projects in this ecosystem:
The IPO: In this case, LPI DAO is acting as an IPO agent for companies looking to raise capital by selling shares in their products. These companies will often have already raised millions or billions of dollars from venture capital funds and angel investors; yet they have still found themselves unable to find a way to pay investors (and even employees!).
The stand alone company: This is where most projects fail or simply never get off the ground; they are too late at the start. They either don’t really understand what their product does or they just do it poorly enough that no one cares about them anymore (or at least no one enough to give them money).
LPI DAO offers an opportunity for these projects — whose product doesn’t really belong in the market — to use our platform as an IPO agent by listing themselves on our exchange and attracting more investors (potentially raising millions) with a compelling pitch about their potential market potential for their product(s). Conclusion
Just as a side note: in the past year I’ve learned a lot about this space from new and old friends alike, and one of the most important things we’ve discussed has been the importance of marketing. Whether it is through social media platforms, or public speaking, or simply building up a community of users — all have value in helping either to promote your product (in the case of social media), or to bring awareness to your product (in the case of public speaking).
But what do you think? Do you see any particular value in marketing? If so, how do you think we can make it better?
