2017 was a fantastic year for cryptocurrency. Countless coins went through the roof, especially during the holiday months. A large group of consumers entered the market, knowing only the green figures. At the beginning of this year, however, the blow that we are already suffering for four years in January. For those new investors, however, it was the first encounter with the other side of volatility. Fortunately for them there is good news, provided they have not already got out of panic. Bitcoin has hit the $ 11,000 mark again.

Bitcoin ticks the $ 11,000 mark again
Where the cryptocoin tapped nearly 20,000 dollars at the end of last year, a fall of up to 6,000 dollars was made. This is a big blow, which is now slowly being corrected. This is also where the currency first stuck around the $ 8,000 stable, Bitcoin managed to keep fluctuating between $ 9,000 and $ 10,500 last weekend. Now the way seems to be going up, as analysts have already predicted. The $ 11,000 has just been tapped, at the time of writing.

The other cryptocurrency in the top ten also shows healthy growth. In fact, the total value of the market has again passed 502 billion dollars. Ethereum is approaching the $ 1000 again, but NEO in particular remains promising. The digital currency continues to rise sharply, with 8 percent alone in the past 24 hours. More investors are focusing their attention on NEO, instead of Ethereum. Here you can read what makes that coin so special.

Litecoin is falling, but for a reason
Of the top ten currencies in market cap, Litecoin (LTC) is the only currency that has fallen in value in the past 24 hours. As an investor, however, you do not have to worry. Last week currency just shot through the roof, after it was announced that current owners of LTC per currency would receive a certain amount of Litecoin Cash. As a result the demand and therefore the value increased. This is simply a correction of that short-lived hype. The man behind Litecoin even called Litecoin Cash a scam. Here you can read why.
