Why I sold my BTC for LTC.steemCreated with Sketch.

I cashed out all my BTC yesterday (December 20th, 2017) for LTC. Which will happen sooner I ask myself ... that LTC will be $900 or that BTC will be $50k? My bets are on LTC. Cost me $70 yesterday to send $2500 in BTC to Binance... Add to that the fact that yesterday I heard there were over 240,000 pending BTC transactions... It is no longer practical to be holding BTC if one desires to be able to quickly make timely buys for certain alts at certain times, and sometimes the window of opportunity is very small like less than 20 minutes as it was the other day when BCH had its rally. Because I was holding majorly in LTC, for that reason I was able to swoop up quickly SUB at 49 cents, VET at less than $1.20, and POWR on its dip at 93 cents. Now I'm majorly in the profit zone because of making those quick trades capitalizing on opportunity. If I wasn't holding LTC and only BTC at the time I would have completely missed the chance. So the way I see it is this ... it's not a debate about whether BTC is King or not, that's besides the point. What matters is what is useful and also the fact that there is no reason why LTC won't rise at least as fast if not three times as fast as BTC in the imminent future. So I've moved out of BTC and deeply into LTC as my primary "store of value" or as my primary "savings account" from which I can move expediently my funds out and buy alts when they dip.

Now, today, (December 21st) I come across rumors...

This is the gentleman that I first saw connect the dots...

And now what I check LTC price on CMC it appears an ascent has already begun.

Now keep in mind none of this is CONFIRMED. These are only rumors.
But that's what crypto is at the end of the day... bets on rumors, hearsay.
All the clues are there. What do you see? Could it be true?

In any case I'm glad I exchanged my BTC for LTC yesterday, and I will be hodling LTC as my primary choice of store of value for the ability to quickly navigate cryptoland capitalizing on opportunities as they arise, unforeseen and never to be anticipated. That's why you want to stay nimble.

I agree with you totally on this one, I also exchanged a chunk of BTC for that very reason, after battling for days trying to do quick exchanges to catch good deals and then missing them because nothing goes through.

Using litecoin or even ethereum has been a joy it is quick and tons cheaper than BTC.

BTC really needs to address this issue before it loses tons of share due to people just getting fed up. I am still an avid BTC supporter, but this is ridiculous.

Fingers crossed we see a solution and soon.

Stay Blessed.

You're all over it!

:-) Have an awesome day.
